I went to the farmers' market today and I met a smug vegetarian. No offense! I have vegetarian friends, they are vegeterians for different reasons. But they keep a low profile, sometimes they actually pretend they eat my food, so no-one notices they're vegetarian.
So, I went to queue up at the Gubbeen stand:
Woman next to me: - My husband says those sausages are gorgeous.
Me: - Oh yeah, I always have them in my freezer for days when I don't feel like cooking. They ARE absolutely lovely.
WNT: - Well, I wouldn't know. I'm a vegeterian.
Ummm.... OK! Have it tattooed across your forehead!
